The highest peak in the world ‘Mount Everest’ lies in Nepal. It is one of the major tourist attraction for people all around the world.

Some Tourist Doesn’t Know Where Mount Everest Is Located

I met a tourist during my flight from Chicago to Doha and she was explaining me about her great plans about India tour and she began to share with me about what she found over internet about India.

What socked me and i felt pity about her is that she was asking me from which part of India, she can visit Mount Everest Base Camp with minimum expenses !

I replied, Mount Everest Lies in Nepal. It is only possible to reach Mount Everest Base camp from Nepal not from India at all. It was hard for me to absorb that ignorance but at the same time i felt pity on her and give her clear direction on where she should land and where it is located.

She really thanked me after that and did let me know about all the confusion that she spelled out because of her findings over the internet.

This was the reason i choose to write about where and in which country Mount Everest is located.
